DRY-FITTING DISCLAIMER:
At C&H Precision, our products are designed and manufactured to meet tight tolerances. Installation can be affected by variations in your plate, hardware, optic, and firearm tolerances. For safe installation and to prevent potential damage to any component, we advise dry-fitting all parts before a full installation. If any problems arise during this process, please reach out to our Customer Service via our contact portal.

IRON SIGHTS DISCLAIMER:
When making aftermarket firearm modifications, factory components can often become obsolete, particularly when mounting optics on the slide, whether through direct milling or using a plate. Achieving the correct height for low co-witness iron sights depends on factors such as the firearm type, mounting plate, optic, and slide cut. For assistance in determining the appropriate iron sight height for your specific setup, please contact our Customer Service team through our dedicated contact portal.

This plate looks good, it looks solid, but it is not. When placed on my Shadow Systems optics platform, it appears to sit flush. When I add the torx screws and tighten to spec, the front of the plate lifts off the firearm ever so slightly. When trying to zero the handgun at 15 yards, while bench-rested, the firearm is holding a 6” group. This is highly unusual for me as I can usually key-hole shots at 10-15 yards without a bench rest. I tried loc-tightening the screws in place, wondering if they were walking loose, but that was not the issue. This mount is NOT suitable for daily use or patrol/duty use as I was intending. I emailed customer service requesting to return this item with full refund as it is completely unusable.

Fit perfectly, don’t know what else to say. The adapter made of very strong stuff

I have 3 other great plates from CHPWS (x1 507c for Glock MOS and x2 509t) that I got a few years back before all the commotion about CHPWS’s QC issues. Recently, I’ve read a lot of not-so-happy customers with CHPWS (it’s all over Reddit and other forums) about customer service and plate issues. I also have a friend who picked up a 509t plate for his MOS that wasn’t so happy about the quality of the plate (his 509t plate caused his optic to be tilted when mounted). He’s even contacted them and they told him that it was within their accepted tolerances. Since I’ve had good experiences so far in the past, I thought I’d roll the dice on this plate for my SS MR920 + Aimpoint ACRO P-2. BIG MISTAKE! The good: it mounts lower than any other plate out on the market. The bad (bad enough to not be acceptable): 1. the plate has a massive amount of play and I can slide a thick piece of printer paper between the front of the cut-out and the plate after being screwed down 2. the ACRO P-2 ends up being tilted to the left after being torqued down to spec and not just by a little bit, it’s painfully obvious. After placing the order (and reading about more bad experiences on forums), I immediately sent an email requesting a cancellation of the order because of all the bad experiences that others have been having. Unfortunately, my email was not addressed and the plate was sent anyways. I would have loved to go with this plate because it’s steel, mounts low, and is cut specifically for the SS MR920. I ended up going with another plate that’s RMR to ACRO P-2, 7075 t6, and mounts the P-2 a bit higher but with zero play whatsoever, and the optic mounts flat to the plate. I’d try and sell this to someone but I wouldn’t feel right selling them a plate that I wouldn’t trust myself.
