DRY-FITTING DISCLAIMER:
At C&H Precision, our products are designed and manufactured to meet tight tolerances. Installation can be affected by variations in your plate, hardware, optic, and firearm tolerances. If any problems arise during this process, please reach out to our Customer Service via our contact portal.

IRON SIGHTS DISCLAIMER:
When making aftermarket firearm modifications, factory components can often become obsolete, particularly when mounting optics on the slide, whether through direct milling or using a plate. Achieving the correct height for low co-witness iron sights depends on factors such as the firearm type, mounting plate, optic, and slide cut. For assistance in determining the appropriate iron sight height for your specific setup, please contact our Customer Service team through our dedicated contact portal.

I originally ordered the wrong plate for a Glock, did the return for store credit. I re-ordered the correct plate , but store credit wasn’t applied at the time of purchase. Contacting the good folks at C&H enabled it all to be corrected. The products from C&H are not only the best on the market, but their customer service is also at the top. Thanks.

Gotta say not only is it a great product but the customer service is second to none, had a little issue in the sense that usps lost my original order and the customer service person had a replacement sent out via two day air no questions asked 10/10

This is my third plate purchase from CHPWS and my second MOS-407k/507k. So far I’ve been impressed (in the positive way) with the quality of machining and excellence of fit. But by far, the most impressive feature I see with CHPWS’s mounting plates is the way they get increased optic-to-plate thread engagement. As long as you clean the mating surfaces with acetone and let them air-dry, and be sure to use some threadlocker (I use Loctite 242 or 243), you’re going to be a happy camper.
In case anyone else cares, cleaning the mating surfaces is super easy. I keep a little bottle with a glass eyedropper filled with acetone from Ace Hardware. First, I take the smallest glass container I can find and put the screws & steel lugs in the container and put some acetone in it, and let everything soak a minute.
While the screws & lug nuts are soaking in acetone, I take a piece of pipe cleaner and put a couple of drops of acetone on the tip, and quickly (before it evaporates) swish it around the holes in my gun’s mounting surface – the holes where you’ll mount the plate to the gun. Just stick the pipe cleaner wetted with acetone in the holes and rotate a few times… turn your gun slide upside down and shake the acetone out of the holes. I take a little squeeze bulb to blow air into the holes to make sure they’re perfectly dry.
After cleaning out the holes in my gun’s optic-mounting surface, I take out the screws & lug nuts from the little bottle and shake off the acetone.
Now, all the mating surfaces are cleaned and oil-free. Use Loctite 242 or 243 and tighten everything to recommended torque.

I got the plate and had it installed right off. Very pleased with the fit and design. I love how it is thin enough to allow co witness with my Night Fision sights! I mean its perfect! Wonderful, well thought out design. I’m not one who is as keen on huge RDS on my pistol. The 507K looks right on my G17 thanks to you guys!

Received my adapter and it fit the Holosun 507k beautifully. I honestly didn’t think it fit at first, but it was a tight enough fit that I actually had to apply a touch of pressure for it to drop into place. Beautiful fit, no gap, etc.

I was so excited by this that I got everything ready, got the VibraTight on the screws let it dry per its instructions, and mounted the plate. It fit amazing and was secure. I put the 507K on and started getting the screws in… that’s when I ran into an issue… The (2) 4-40 screws going through the 507k to plate (through the t-posts) ended up being about 4 threads too long, so before the site was secure the plate was being bent up due to the screws bottoming out.

The result, disassemble everything, use the t-post as a gauge, and spend about 8 min sanding the screws down to the correct length, then re VibraTight the screws, and re-mount. After the custom length screws, it now is all mounted, and looking good. (I don’t see an option to upload an image.)

I haven’t field-tested or anything at this point but felt I needed to give a review for the quality. I’ll gladly update or re-review after 6 or so months of use.
