Place Your Order
Start by selecting your preferred milling service and any add-ons on our website. Once your order is submitted, ship your slide or complete pistol to our facility.
Order Confirmation
When your slide arrives at C&H Precision, our team will contact you to confirm it’s been received and to double-check the details of your order before work begins.
Disassembly & Prep
Your slide is carefully disassembled and prepped for machining. We take great care to ensure every component is handled properly from start to finish.
Precision Milling
Using advanced CNC equipment, we machine your slide to exact specifications for your chosen optic cut or custom configuration.
Surface Refinishing
After milling, the slide is sandblasted and stripped to create a clean, uniform surface – perfect for the next step in the process.
Cerakote Application
Your slide is then professionally Cerakoted in the color of your choice and baked for durability.
Reassembly & QA Inspection
Once the finish is cured, we reassemble your slide or pistol and perform a thorough quality assurance inspection to ensure everything functions exactly as it should.

Military or
Law Enforcement?

If you are MIL/LEO and the slide you are sending is for your duty weapon we will expedite the milling at no additional charge.

If you select it is your duty weapon you are required to send a copy of your MIL/LEO credentials with the slide to us.

4‑Week Lead‑Time Guarantee (Optic‑Cut Orders): We guarantee shipment of your optic‑cut slide milling order within 4 weeks of payment.
If we miss this deadline, your next milling service is free.

Please note: This guarantee applies only to our optic-cut service. The following modifications void the 4‑week guarantee:
Serrations (any kind), windows, pockets, or corner chamfers, or custom paint and Black Nitride

Concierge Program

Our slide milling concierge program guarantees your slide is finished in five working days or less* after we receive your slide. With the concierge service we will overnight ship a hard case and a return label for you to send the slide to us. When the slide is finished we will ship the slide back to you in a custom C&H locking pistol case that is yours to keep.

*Black nitride refinishing voids the 5 day guarantee as we do not do this in house.

PACKING YOUR SLIDE

Preparing your slide for shipping is easy and crucial for a smooth service experience. Follow these simple steps to ensure your slide arrives safely and ready for precision milling.

Safely remove the slide from your pistol.
Remove all necessary internal components and iron sights if you selected to send your slide disassembled.
Wrap it up, box it up and send it to us using your favorite shipping method
(FedEx Ground / UPS / USPS).
Please include a copy of your paid invoice or a note with your name, phone number,
email address, and order number.
We STRONGLY recommend sending your slide in a box and not an envelope. Most envelopes we receive get ripped open during transit and we have received a few empty envelopes.
