Slide Milling Lead Times
Standard slide milling typically takes between two to three weeks, if your slide takes more than four weeks, your next milling is free!
Slide milling with Black Nitride refinishing typically takes four to eight weeks, or less. Black Nitride refinishing voids the four weeks or less guarantee, LEO expediting, and Concierge Program expediting.
Slide Milling Lead Times
Our slide milling concierge program guarantees your slide is finished in five working days or less* after we receive your slide. With the concierge service we will overnight ship a hard case and a return label for you to send the slide to us.
*Black nitride refinishing voids the 5 day guarantee as we do not do this in house.*
If you are MIL/LEO and the slide you are sending is for your duty weapon we will expedite the milling at no additional charge. If you select it is your duty weapon you are required to send a copy of your MIL/LEO credentials with the slide to us.
Ensure Your Slide Arrives Safely
Packing Your Slide
Preparing your slide for shipping is easy and crucial for a smooth service experience. Follow these simple steps to ensure your slide arrives safely and ready for precision milling.
- Safely remove the slide from your pistol.
- Remove all necessary internal components and iron sights if you selected to send your slide disassembled.
- Wrap it up, box it up and send it to us using your favorite shipping method (FedEx Ground / UPS / USPS).
- Please include a copy of your paid invoice or a note with your name, phone number, email address, and order number.
- We STRONGLY recommend sending your slide in a box and not an envelope. Most envelopes we receive get ripped open during transit and we have received a few empty envelopes
- If you want to make sure your slide gets to us safely, BOX IT UP.
