C&H Precision BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights) were specifically designed to be used with the OEM Optic Ready Slides and Direct Milled Slides.

LowWitness is defined as a BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights) that sits between .075″ to .100″ into the optic FOV (Field Of View) which is equivalent  to lower 1/6 to lower 1/8.

True Co-Witness blocks half of your red dot visible window / FOV while Lower Third blocks one third of your visible window / FOV.

Red Dot Industry Experts believe Back Up Irons should not be a vision blocker and should be as low as possible but still useable if needed.

LowWitness® Back Up Iron Sight heights provide you the lowest usable sight height without being a vision blocker “Everything you need, nothing you don’t”

Put this on a Walther Q4 SF, and made the front sight much easier to see over the all black factory installed sight that it came with, however, it is not the easiest to get installed in such a tight space, and that is my reason for 3 stars. This could be a better design as I had to purchase a special nut driver that would fit the nut that holds the front sight in. This should be mentioned in the description or additional information. I was expecting it would have a slot for a screwdriver or a hex head but nope. So, if you don’t have a nut driver, you will need a 3/16 hex nut driver to put this on, and it would also be nice if the torque specifications were also included. Since this was not included, I will add here what I found: For Night Fision front sights, including those for the Walther Q4 SF, the recommended torque for the front sight screw is 5-7 inch-pounds (in/lbs). You can achieve 5 in/lbs using a Night Fision Hex Screw driver with hand torque only.

Wish I had this information when I was installing mine, so, I hop this helps somebody, and CH, can you please add this information to the description or additional information? Thanks!

Pre-sale support and delivery could not have been better. Looking forward to getting my slide back to complete installation.

Putting these on a Q4 or Q5 is a no-brainer. This sight just makes the front-to-rear sight picture POP. The fiber front sight on the Q5 SF Pro is great, but this front sight is light years better. I just put another one on a Q4 SF OR for standard use and to compliment the CHPWS co-witness rear plate setup with a Trijicon.

Perfect front sight for an RMR on a Q5 SF when paired with the WLPPQ-RSH-RSR plate!

I paired this front BUIS with the CHPWS WLPPQ-RSH-RSR optic plate to mount with a Trijicon SRO. The BUIS are really low and do not distract in seeing the red dot. You really don’t noticed the back up sights unless you need to use them.
