I received one of these free as part of a Walther promotion. I ran it for a period of time without issues and then started having a problem where the optic wouldn’t turn on about 50% of the time. I’d draw and have no dot. I replaced the battery and took it to the range. It worked fine for a short period of time and then went completely dead. Opened a case with support and had it swapped out.
Received the new optic and installed it and then took it to shoot a match. The dot failed during the 3rd of 9 stages. Went to try replacing the battery, but the battery door and battery were gone. They must have flown off while shooting.
I reached out to support and they said sometimes the screws for the battery door come from their supplier without enough loctite.
I went on the website to buy a replacement. The part is something like $8, but the cheapest shipping option is closer to $30.
I own more than a dozen Holosun and Sig optics and haven’t had this issue with any of them. I even checked a handful of them to see if it felt like a screw could be backing out, but all were tight. I personally would not be comfortable putting this optic on any kind of EDC because of the multiple issues I’ve had with the battery door.

I was cautious with which optic I was getting for my Walther. This mounted easily. I like the choice of which optic I use. A pinpoint or circle. I chose green for visibility.
I am pleased with my purchase.

Great dot. Direct mount to Walther PDP without plate. Good value. From past experience C&H after sale customer service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Really glad I went with this optic over the Holosun SCS PDP, has a larger glass area. 2 thumbs up.
Only thing I wish is that when they called me to confirm my order on Friday, that they would have mentioned that the red dot would be 20% off on Sunday. Bit of a surpise to check my email Sunday morning and see it 20% off.
Other than that, I am really happy with the red dot.
