This upgrade will flatten the cut which should solve the issue of some optics not being able to be zeroed due to the slope of the original optic ready cut.
This is for milling of the optic ready M&P Shield Plus version slides ONLY. This upgrade will allow for direct mounting of Holosun 407k/507k/EPS/EPS Carry optics without the use of an adapter plate over the existing optics cut. For NON-Optic Ready M&P Shield Plus milling click here.
***M&P Shield slides that are cerakoted or black nitrided may need to have the striker channel liner replaced. If you send a new channel liner with the slide we will install it before shipping back to you, if a new channel liner is not included with the slide you may need to install one when you receive the slide back.

Shipping Instructions for Your Slide Customization:
- Remove the slide from your pistol.
- If you selected “disassembled”, remove all internals and iron sights
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your name, phone, email, and order number.
- Sending your optic is strongly recommended – it ensures perfect fitment, and we’ll mount it for free.
- Use a sturdy box. Do NOT use envelopes.
- Ship your slide using any major carrier: UPS, FedEx. WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE discourage using USPS due to lost shipments and lack of tracking.

I elected to send my Shield Plus slide to C & H on the recommendation by a local gunsmith to have it cut to flush fit a Holosun SCS Carry. Very glad I did. I sent my whole slide, optic and everything (extra charge, but was very convenient!). I sent it via USPS. I do NOT recommend doing this. It took almost a month to get to C&H, and took a two week (what I can only assume is a) vacation in Puerto Rico. Pay the extra to send it via UPS or FEDEX and spare yourself the anxiety that I went through.
Upon reciept of my slide, they sent me an email confirming they had it. Three weeks later, it was on its way back to be. I received it fully assembled, and it is everything I was hoping it would be. Holosun sits flush, can see all of the front post, and they even marked the screws so I have a reference of they start backing out! I haven’t taken the slide off to inspect the actual work, and I don’t think I will unless the optic were to malfunction, but based on what I can tell, it’s what the shield plus optics ready slide SHOULD be, not the garbage plate that is included for mounting a Holosun, that puts the optic at an angle with a gap you can see through.

Outstanding job on milling out my optics cut. They did a stellar job and it looks like it came straight from the factory. Now my EPS carry is perfectly zeroed on my Shield Plus. I also love that the cut is low enough that I have a great co-witness with my irons. Couldn’t be happier and will definitely use their milling services again!

Exactly what the Shield Plus OR needed to take the Holosun 407K. The machining and cerakote were perfect allowing the optic to mount low enough to co-witness the factory iron sights. They were also very quick, I got my slide back within two weeks of shipping it out. Great service, I will definitely be using C+H again!

Wow, just got my shield plus slide back and they did an excellent job on both the removal of optic posts and the cheroke finish. The holosum optic fits great without the need of an adapter plate and I now have full view of the sights should the red dot go dead. I wish I could attach picture to show what a great jog they did. Really fast turn around time to. I will be sending another gun to them in the near future.
