The polymer Speed Feed is a high quality component, I was happily surprised. It fit cleanly and precisely in my Gen 5 G17, and now with it installed my magwell is smooth and completely snag-free. I honestly didn’t struggle with fumbling reloads before getting this, but now I feel like I couldn’t snag a mag if I tried! I am very impressed, and very glad I got it. Thanks, C&H.

Speedfeed is a must if you own any Glock. I wouldn’t own a Gen 5 Glock without one. They are that good.

The Speed Feed EDC is an excellent product. It’s a well designed piece of plastic that makes reloading a Glock pistol noticably smoother. I wanted to quantify how much faster my reloads were with the Speed Feed, so I set up a simple test:
I did 28 dry-fire slide-lock reloads with a snap cap yesterday without the Speed Feed. I used a shot timer app on my phone to give me a start signal. I set the sensativity in the app high enough that it recorded the sound of the slide going forward. I recorded the times and threw out the 4 longest times to account for user error. I repeated the test today with the Speed Feed installed.
Without the Speed Feed installed, I had a total time of 27.53 seconds accross 24 reloads – with an average of 1.15 and a standard deviation of 0.09.
With the Speed Feed, I managed a total time of 24.39 seconds – with an average of 1.02 and a standard deviation of 0.05.
The Speed Feed accounted for a 0.13 decrease in average reload time – an 11.41% improvement. It also reduced the standard deviation by almost half – meaning I was nearly twice as consistant with the Speed Feed than without it.
This test was done with my Glock 34, I ran the same test on my Glock 19 a few weeks ago (with the smaller sized Speed Feed) – and had similar results.
TLDR: I’ve spent much more on upgrades for my pistol with far less tangible results. This is money well spent, especially for the price.
