Shipping Instructions:
Safely remove the slide from your pistol. Remove all necessary internal components and iron sights if you selected to send your slide disassembled. Wrap it up, box it up and send it to us using your favorite shipping method (Fedex Ground / UPS / USPS). Please include a copy of your paid invoice or a note with your name, phone number, email address, and order number. **If you ordered the cross cut please leave the firing pin and firing pin retaining plate installed in the slide as the retaining plate will need to be milled down for the cross plate to be mounted.** We STRONGLY recommend sending your slide in a box and not an envelope. Most envelopes we receive get ripped open during transit and we have received a few empty envelopes. If you want to make sure your slide gets to us safely BOX IT UP.

While waiting for my Lead and Steel Pandora, I thought it a good idea to get the work done on the slide for my dedicated suppressor host. Excellent machine work, verry pleased with the resutl. Can’t wait for the optic to get here so I can fire it up. Thank you CH!

Have always wanted an optic on a 1911. Picked a CS model from Rock Island as a host and began to research companies to do the cut for an EPS Carry. Settled on C and H as I’ve heard 1st hand accounts of their quality and services from multiple people. Very happy with the decision. The optic cut is extremely deep and the cerkote is perfect. My EPS Carry mounted nice and snug in the pocket. Will definitely be putting another project in C and Hs hands in the near future!

I had C&H Precision mill the slide of my non-optic ready Staccato C so that I could mount a Holosun EPS Carry optic. As always, the work was nicely done and was completed in a timely manner. They even mounted the EPS Carry on the slide before returning it to me. I had the black nitride coating applied to the slide after the milling which I highly recommend.. Since the factory rear sight is lost in the 1911/2011 slide milling process, my one surprise is that the optic sits so low that the rear sight built into the EPS Carry optic body is substantially lower than the factory front sight, thus preventing a usable co-witness of the iron sights. I have zeroed the optic and the Staccato C with the EPS Carry optic is incredibly accurate.

I’ve sent 4 different STI and 2011 builds to get cross cut and I’ve been extremely satisfied with all of the cuts. The plates have held strong for many thousands of rounds and the fit and finish is exceptional. I’m about to send a 5th gun in for a cut, CHPWS is the way to go.
