C&H Precision BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights) were specifically designed to be used with the OEM Optic Ready Slides and Direct Milled Slides.
LowWitness is defined as a BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights) that sits between .075″ to .100″ into the optic FOV (Field Of View) which is equivalent to lower 1/6 to lower 1/8.
True Co-Witness blocks half of your red dot visible window / FOV while Lower Third blocks one third of your visible window / FOV.
Red Dot Industry Experts believe Back Up Irons should not be a vision blocker and should be as low as possible but still useable if needed.

The BUIS sights are the way to go … I am running an RMR, these sights sit very low as co-witness sights can. The are absolutely durable and tough. C&H added my RMR , as well as their BUIS sights, they have done an excellent job. These sights will change your total sight picture, the rear does not catch your eye, unless you are looking for it, perfect set-up. combat ready !

These sights are perfect on a Glock 29 that’s direct milled for an RMR… just visible at the bottom of the window, without blocking much at all. As an added bonus, they also just clear the top of a Silencerco Osprey.

Perfection with the PDP Pro SD Compact & Holosun 507C! Front sight is as bright as you’ll ever find them. Gun Smith confirmed back sight was tight to get in, but no problem with the correct professional tools & equipment. Seems well built. Most importantly gives me uncompromising irons that take away the least amount of viewable red dot glass as possible. Consider this built for your PDP and 507C! Must have.

Perfect sights for the PDP with an RMR! I was unimpressed with Walther’s plain black BUIS offered on their website for $90, found these for the same price but with a tritium front sight which is a much better bang-for-the-buck in my opinion. They were an extremely tight fit: whereas the factory sights came out easy with a nylon punch and brass hammer, I had to use a proper sight pusher to install these. If you don’t have a sight pusher, have a gunsmith install these or you may have to fit it slightly with a file.
