**Larger optics can only be milled in the all-the-way back position on G43(x)/G48 slides due to the milling entering the cavity for the firing pin block if it is milled in the standard position in front of the rear sight. A new rear sight dovetail can be milled in front of the RMRcc optic cut if you want to use backup iron sights.
**Glock 42 Slides can only be milled for the CHPWS RMSc-EDC, Holosun 407k/507k/EPS, Shield RMS/RMSc, Sig Romeo0, or an optic that shares one of these footprints and must be milled in the all-the-way back position with no new rear dovetail in front of the optic cut.
**Glock 42 slides cannot be milled for any top windows. Only optic cuts.
**The pictures of each modification are an example of what only choosing that modification will look like on the slide. Modifications performed may not look exactly as depicted depending on your slide model and the combination of serrations, windows, and/or pockets you chose.

- Remove the slide from your pistol.
- If you selected “disassembled”, remove all internals and iron sights
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your name, phone, email, and order number.
- Sending your optic is strongly recommended – it ensures perfect fitment, and we’ll mount it for free.
- Use a sturdy box. Do NOT use envelopes.
- Ship your slide using any major carrier: UPS, FedEx. WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE discourage using USPS due to lost shipments and lack of tracking.

I had my Glock 48 silver slide machined to add a Holosun 407K Gold Dot optic. I shipped the optic in it’s original box along with the slide to C&H. The process of shipping C&H the slide, payment, and return of the finished slide with the optic mounted went very smoothly. I had the area that was machined cerakoted, so I could not see how the cerakote job was without removing the optic. I assume it is good. I opted for the ZEV threaded posts for better stability. I was trained to use the optic as part of my grip to rack the slide during a malfunction response. The only thing I would change regards the 10% discount I didn’t receive during payment. I printed out the 10% discount email from C&H and put it in the box with the optic and slide when I shipped it to ensure I received the discount. You are required to provide payment before the work will start and when I did so the discount was not recognized. Probably related to something I didn’t do .
