**Larger optics can only be milled in the all-the-way back position on G43(x)/G48 slides due to the milling entering the cavity for the firing pin block if it is milled in the standard position in front of the rear sight. A new rear sight dovetail can be milled in front of the RMRcc optic cut if you want to use backup iron sights.
**Glock 42 Slides can only be milled for the CHPWS RMSc-EDC, Holosun 407k/507k/EPS, Shield RMS/RMSc, Sig Romeo0, or an optic that shares one of these footprints and must be milled in the all-the-way back position with no new rear dovetail in front of the optic cut.
**Glock 42 slides cannot be milled for any top windows. Only optic cuts.
**The pictures of each modification are an example of what only choosing that modification will look like on the slide. Modifications performed may not look exactly as depicted depending on your slide model and the combination of serrations, windows, and/or pockets you chose.

- Remove the slide from your pistol.
- If you selected “disassembled”, remove all internals and iron sights
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your name, phone, email, and order number.
- Sending your optic is strongly recommended – it ensures perfect fitment, and we’ll mount it for free.
- Use a sturdy box. Do NOT use envelopes.
- Ship your slide using any major carrier: UPS, FedEx. WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE discourage using USPS due to lost shipments and lack of tracking.

My wife loves her milled G42 slide & ability to finally add a red dot! Honestly, I just didn’t want to make a huge investment in adding an optic to her tiny range toy that didn’t even have an existing cut – but this milling service, coupled with an economically priced Sig ROMEOZero Elite, was the move! Now we can indefinitely put-off replacing the pistol that she’s fallen so in love with. We’d already tried a dovetail mounted adapter plate, but as expected, the optic mounted too darn high for any practical use. Though I was initially skeptical about having the dovetail slot milled-away on her OEM slide, turns out that in a pinch, she can indeed still achieve a minimal amount of co-witness using her standard height front sight & the ROMEOZero Elite’s built-in/molded rear sight – she’s happy with the new sight picture & I suspect will never regret ditching her dovetail & irons. She doesn’t carry & likewise, doesn’t need the protective shroud, but I initially installed it anyway for kicks & it too fits well within the milled cut. I’ve got an aftermarket optic cut slide that I’ve never been truly happy with installed on a matching G43, but this gives me the confidence to have CHPWS cut that OEM slide too, getting it back into rotation! Thanks so much guys… now she won’t need to bang so much of MY gear at the range :o)

Had my glock slide milled and coated. Absolutely perfect job. Did not expect the stock irons to be usable with the dot. That was a nice surprise. 5 stars

Not many companies offer optic cut for G42. Thankfully, CHPWS does a G42 cut and even has the option for Zev style threaded posts which is what I prefer for all my optic cuts. I shipped my slide on a Friday, got a call from them on Monday that they received my slide and reviewed my order with me, and then I received my slide back on Saturday. That’s eight days turnaround and half of that time was shipping. Out of the half dozen slides I’ve gotten work done by other companies, no one has come close to being that fast. The machining quality is superb. I can run my fingernail across the cut plane and it’s as smooth as glass. The Zev threaded posts lock my 407K in place perfectly. I highly recommend CHPWS and will be sending future slides to them.

Service was as advertised. Everything lined up for easy install of my red dot. Turn around time was exactly what they said it would be. Watch the videos they send you about packing your slide to ship to them. Super happy with the service and the result.
