I sent my clock 19 slide to have it mailed and my optics mounted as well as getting the top slide cerakote. I was very pleased with every thing that was done to my Glock 19 slide. And the turnaround time was very reasonable. I am going to be sending my Glock 17 to have the same thing done with that firearm. I would recommend this process to anyone who is thinking about having milling done on their slide or optics mounted.

What frustrates me most is the lack of accountability. The staff openly admitted that the Vortex Venom Enclosed is “so new” they didn’t know about it, yet the ordering system still presents “Vortex Venom” as if it covers all variants. That is misleading. As a customer, I should not be expected to know the technical differences between optic footprints when the company positions itself as the expert.
Yes, I acknowledge that I did not send in the optic with my order, and I accept some responsibility for that. But expertise is exactly why I turned to C&H Precision in the first place. Customers depend on professionals to stay current with the market and to guide them through these distinctions. When a popular brand like Vortex introduces a new optic, it is the company’s responsibility to update their system and warn customers of incompatibility.
The most troubling part is that there is no recourse. Milling is permanent — it cannot be undone or altered. I am left with a slide that cannot be used with my optic, and no solution offered. This is not just an inconvenience; it is a complete loss of value.
Until C&H Precision updates their ordering process to clearly differentiate between optic variants and takes responsibility for guiding customers through these choices, I cannot recommend their slide optic milling service.

Great work and super fast turn around time! I sent in my G45 slide (non MOS) along with my C&H Precision Comp dot for direct milling the week before Thanksgiving and it was back to me a week later! I’ve never had an issue before with the Comp dot on other guns (used in USPSA carry optics) and now I have a trusted red dot for my EDC gun! Would definitely recommend C&H Precision for milling and their red dots/optics!!

This was the second Glock slide that I sent to C&H for direct mount milling. They once again did excellent work in a timely manner. I sent my sight with the slide and it returned already mounted with the screws marked. Can’t ask for more than that!

I was a little apprehensive about sending my slide in to have it milled for a red dot sight. I an 69 years old and my eyesight has made it harder to pick up the iron sights. I have several glocks but none with an optic cut. After doing my research, I decided to go with C&H Precision. I made the correct choice. The staff there were very helpful and informative. They answered all of my questions before I sent my slide and really put my mind at ease. After they received my slide, they gave me a call to verify all of the order information and answer any questions I might have. I received an email with tracking information when they sent it back. Upon receiving the slide, I was happy to see it was perfect. My Glock 19 was whole again and the new sight really made a difference in my shooting. As I am writing this review, I am in the process of sending my Glock 17 in for its new look. Thank you C&H staff for making this process so easy and doing the job right.
