DRY-FITTING DISCLAIMER:
At C&H Precision, our products are designed and manufactured to meet tight tolerances. Installation can be affected by variations in your plate, hardware, optic, and firearm tolerances. For safe installation and to prevent potential damage to any component, we advise dry-fitting all parts before a full installation. If any problems arise during this process, please reach out to our Customer Service via our contact portal.

IRON SIGHTS DISCLAIMER:
When making aftermarket firearm modifications, factory components can often become obsolete, particularly when mounting optics on the slide, whether through direct milling or using a plate. Achieving the correct height for low co-witness iron sights depends on factors such as the firearm type, mounting plate, optic, and slide cut. For assistance in determining the appropriate iron sight height for your specific setup, please contact our Customer Service team through our dedicated contact portal.

C&H responded quickly to my warranty claim and sent me a replacement. This unit has been upgraded and the rear site has serrations to reduce glare from the sun which is a nice feature. I like the looks of it but have not had a chance to shoot with it installed. I will update in the future if I have any rear sight separation issues with this upgraded plate.

1st time the plate rear sight broke off from my Legion. C&H replaced it after another week it broke off again. Don’t tell me that the torque wasn’t done right. It is a piece of crap to pay for over $120 that something doesn’t even last 2 weeks. Crap Crap Crap……

Read mounting instructions, or you will become a one-eyed pirate.

After receiving my plate in the mail, I opened the box and removed the packaging. Tossing aside the instructions, I mounted the plate finger tight and called it good.

Four magazines into my XFive Legion, I was smacked in the face by a flying rear sight. Through recoil alone, the rear sight broke off.

After speaking with a service rep, I was informed improper torque can cause the rear sight to break off. I admit this problem is my own fault, but it does not inspire confidence in the optic plate. If recoil forces can break it, how is it supposed to hold up to duty use?

I returned it for a refund. I do not trust the durability of this optic plate.

  4. Christopher Felts (verified owner)

The plate that holds the red dot is very good. Haven’t had a zero shift at all.

However, on my second trip to the range, the section of the plate that holds the rear sights sheered off. So no, I’m back to having no rear sight which is the problem I was fixing with this plate.

Even more frustrating…this was almost 2 weeks ago. I have sent 2 emails in this time frame and have not heard back from CHPWS. Very disappointed with the customer service.

  5. Keith Mernovage (verified owner)

Brilliant product if you buy it for what it was designed for. Fits perfectly on my P320 Legion X-Carry. I have been trying to get an SRO on the gun for a month. The factory plates and screw DO NOT do the job. And with the sight on the back, it really helps center the dot. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the sight a little higher for suppressor backup sights…other than that – PERFECTO!
