DRY-FITTING DISCLAIMER:
At C&H Precision, our products are designed and manufactured to meet tight tolerances. Installation can be affected by variations in your plate, hardware, optic, and firearm tolerances. For safe installation and to prevent potential damage to any component, we advise dry-fitting all parts before a full installation. If any problems arise during this process, please reach out to our Customer Service via our contact portal.

IRON SIGHTS DISCLAIMER:
When making aftermarket firearm modifications, factory components can often become obsolete, particularly when mounting optics on the slide, whether through direct milling or using a plate. Achieving the correct height for low co-witness iron sights depends on factors such as the firearm type, mounting plate, optic, and slide cut. For assistance in determining the appropriate iron sight height for your specific setup, please contact our Customer Service team through our dedicated contact portal.

Installed an RMR on a new M&P Metal using this plate. Held the slide up to the light to check that the plate had fully seated after torquing down the screws (to Trijicon’s spec) and saw that there was a gap under the front of the plate. Took it off and checked with with a couple of different straight edges. Each indicated that the bottom of the plate is not flat. Disappointed to say the least.

  2. Derrick Goins

Awesome upgrade to the factory plate. Feels much more secure and it’s great that the plate fills the entire optic cut (including the sides). Already ran 2 classes with this plate on my M&P and no issues at all. Witness marks still in tact.

Customer service, great. Product quality control, not so much…

When I recieved my first plate, there was a lot of slop on the plate-to-slide, as well as even more slop on plate-to-optic. Filed a warranty return and within 24 hours was approved and able to send it back for replacement. The next day they shipped out the replacement.

However, the new plat fit more snug on the slide, but still had a good amount of slop on the optic. I’m very disappointed with the quality control of chpw. For a $50 plate, you would think they could make sure that it actually fits the model pistol and optic they are making it for…

A solid week of 8 hours days on an LE tactical range (ie. serious beating) and the sight is rock solid. Good to go.

I never trust the flimsy plates that come with most MOS pistols, I have C&H Precision plates on all my platforms and never had a reddot come loose or shoot off, great products guys, keep up the good work!
