REVISED DEFENDER INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS *

INSTALL MOUNTING PLATE ON SLIDE AND TIGHTEN THE M3 SCREWS
TILL THEY MAKE CONTACT WITH PLATE. THEN TIGHTEN 1/4 TURN ONLY!
INSTALL THE RED DOT ON THE PLATE AND TORQUE THE 4-40 SCREWS
TO 10 IN/LBS USING A TORQUE WRENCH OR LIMITER

The C&H Precision plates are designed, manufactured and shipped from our small family owned business in Coastal Georgia.  Each plate is precision machined to the tightest tolerances on HAAS CNC machines and each plate goes through multiple quality checks before shipping to our customers.

Most of our plates feature a patented stainless steel T-Nut which provide an industry leading six to seven threads of engagement.  Since all the mounting hardware is replaceable, if any mounting hardware is damaged it can be replaced without replacing the entire plate.

    Ordered this item. Was Quality control checked for shipping with the right item. I received the wrong Mount though. I received the holosun Mount not the rmr, which I ordered and was checked prior to shipping. I attempted to contact both online and telephone provided on the site with this issue. I never received contact back.

      Sir,
      That plate is suppose to be a press fit into the MOS cut. It was designed to be tight to ensure it does not move during recoil. Sanding it could have negative effects on the functionality in the future. A quick phone call to our customer service team and we would have confirmed this prior to install and answered any other questions you had. Luckily for you, we have a lifetime warranty on this part so if it ever fails, call us and we’ll replace it with another tight one!
