Stripped/Sheared Screw Removal

This service is for the removal of stripped or sheared optic/adapter plate screws. If you stripped a screw and cannot remove it or the screw is sheared off in your slide we will remove the screw free of charge if it was with one of our plate kits or milling (you will still need to pay for return shipping of the slide and any add ons to the order). If the screw is not with one of our plate kits or milling there is a fee of $35.
**If you have already tried removing the screw and have drilled into the slide or screw posts on the slide we most likely will not be able to remove the screw.**
**If we are unable to remove the screw the screw removal cost will be refunded if applicable and the slide returned to you. The return shipping cost and shipping insurance cost is non-refundable.**
**If you selected that the screw was a part of one of our plate kits you will need to send the plate with the slide for us to remove the screw free of charge. If you select it was with our plate kit and you do not send the plate you will be charged the $35 removal fee and your slide will not be returned until we receive payment.**
**If you had your slide milled by us and a screw broke in the slide you will need to send a note with the slide that includes either your original order number or name the order was under so we can verify it was milled by us. If we cannot verify the slide was milled by us you will be charged the $35 removal fee and your slide will not be returned until we receive payment**

Shipping Instructions for Your Slide Customization:
- Remove the slide from your pistol.
- If you selected “disassembled”, remove all internals and iron sights
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your name, phone, email, and order number.
- Sending your optic is strongly recommended – it ensures perfect fitment, and we’ll mount it for free.
- Use a sturdy box. Do NOT use envelopes.
- Ship your slide using any major carrier: UPS, FedEx. WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE discourage using USPS due to lost shipments and lack of tracking.

I stripped the head clean off a screw mounting the plate to my slide. A Glock 19. C&H took care of the issue and had my slide returned VERY quickly, with my optic properly mounted! These guys are awesome, and their customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend them if you’re going the plate route!

I am a repeat customer and had to use the broken screw service.
It REALLY sucks to break an optic screw off, but it would suck more to damage your slide trying to get it out yourself! I sent in my BUL EDC PRO and the screw was removed quickly and with zero damage!
It would cost about the same to buy a quality screw removal kit but without a drill press you will most likely cause permanent damage to your slide if you DIY.
Thanks to C&H my 2k+ pistol is back to fully operational!
