Stripped/Sheared Screw Removal
From: $0.00
This service is for the removal of stripped or sheared optic/adapter plate screws. If you stripped a screw and cannot remove it or the screw is sheared off in your slide we will remove the screw free of charge if it was with one of our plate kits or milling (you will still need to pay for return shipping of the slide and any add ons to the order). If the screw is not with one of our plate kits or milling there is a fee of $35.
**If you have already tried removing the screw and have drilled into the slide or screw posts on the slide we most likely will not be able to remove the screw.**
**If we are unable to remove the screw the screw removal cost will be refunded if applicable and the slide returned to you. The return shipping cost and shipping insurance cost is non-refundable.**
**If you selected that the screw was a part of one of our plate kits you will need to send the plate with the slide for us to remove the screw free of charge. If you select it was with our plate kit and you do not send the plate you will be charged the $35 removal fee and your slide will not be returned until we receive payment.**
**If you had your slide milled by us and a screw broke in the slide you will need to send a note with the slide that includes either your original order number or name the order was under so we can verify it was milled by us. If we cannot verify the slide was milled by us you will be charged the $35 removal fee and your slide will not be returned until we receive payment**

I have a S&W M&P 2.0
in 10mm . The red dot sheared off during range time. I attempted to remove one screw and actually broke a reverse bit off in the same place.
C&H cleaned everything up. Their work is outstanding. I will use them again without looking anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Fantastic job removing the screws with sheared off heads.

I had my eps red dot come loose and fly off of my S&W M&P 2.0 .40 cal at the range. The force was great enough to actually snap one of the mounting screws inside the slide. Sent it out to C&H and they removed the broken screw and reinstalled the red dot. Total time in process was about two weeks, quite reasonable, I felt. This was the third time I used C&H for repair work and it’s likely I’ll need them again in the future. They are nice folks to do business with and their work is always top shelf.

Outstanding customer service. C and H did a fantastic job in resolving by broken screw and mounting my optic. Kudos. Turn around with 2nd day shipping was 17 total days. Impressive. Thank you C and H.

I had a Sig X Five DH3 that I had mounted a Holosun 507 Comp without a plate. Yup, the screws snapped right off right in the middle of a match. I called and spoke with Thomas and he assured me they could take care of it. I shipped it off, got a call back from Thomas letting me know they had received it and discussed exactly what they were going to do. I received the slide with the plate and optic installed in just a few days. Not only that, they threw in a coozie and Ruckpack Focus shot. Excellent workmanship and terrific customer service. I am a customer for life. Interesting tidbit: I served with the founder of Ruckpack, Capt Rob Dyer USMC in Iraq with 1st Force Recon. He was our Air O at the time.
