I never trusted the plastic plates that came with my S&W M&P9 2.0. So I snatched up one of your RMR plates as soon as they came back in stock to mount up my Swampfox Liberty. Let me tell you all something. The machining and fitment of this plate is amazing. No slop and it fits like a glove. My dot is now mounted rock solid. Thank you so much C&H Precision!!! It was a bit of a wait for the plates to be back in stock, but your order fulfillment and shipping were fast and efficient!!! I purchased this plate for my new S&W M&P 10MM with a Holosun 507c optic. The gun is a fantastic shooter, but it comes with several cheap, flimsy plastic adapter plates. I saw some videos online where the plastic plate did not hold up. The 10mm round is a hard hitter, putting punishing forces on the optic mount. The plastic posts sheared off after less than 100 rounds, causing one of the mounting screws to shear off as well. This C&H Precision adapter plate was recommended by several others. I did not shoot the gun until I got the new plate. After installing the Holosun on the gun with this plate, I put 100 rounds through the gun with absolutely no movement of the optic. I would recommend this plate. Perfect fit. Solid metal plate.
On another note, I accidentally ordered the Holosun 507k plate. C&H allowed me to return the plate (with a small restocking fee). The service was great considering it was my mistake.

I am not sure why anyone would use anything but C&H;s mounts after they find this company. I stumbled across them after my Glock 45 launched a Trijicon RMR back at me. Now before I buy a optics ready pistol I check if C&H has a plate and sometimes that is the make or break decision point. Well made and strong.

Like many have mentioned, the plastic adapter plates from Smith and Wesson won’t hold up. I have a MP9 2.0 OR Compact. Mounted the HS507C using the factory plate, torqued to Holosun specs and used blue locktite. After zeroing the optic put about 200 rounds through the firearm and the right mounting screw sheared off. Upon removing the the optic, found that the right recoil lug had sheared off (part of it was still inside the optic).
Sent the slide to Smith and Wesson to have the screw removed (kudos to them as they replaced the entire slide). Meanwhile, after some research, ordered this plate. Received the plate within a couple days or so. Once I got the slide back, installed the plate and optic as per the installation videos on this site. Fit was perfect. Now more than 1200 rounds later, the optic is still dead on zero. Witness marked the screws as recommended and they have not budged.
If you get any Smith and Wesson OR handgun, before mounting the optic, get a mounting plate for it from here. Otherwise, you will be getting later when the factory plate fails.
