DRY-FITTING DISCLAIMER:
At C&H Precision, our products are designed and manufactured to meet tight tolerances. Installation can be affected by variations in your plate, hardware, optic, and firearm tolerances. For safe installation and to prevent potential damage to any component, we advise dry-fitting all parts before a full installation. If any problems arise during this process, please reach out to our Customer Service via our
contact portal.
IRON SIGHTS DISCLAIMER:
When making aftermarket firearm modifications, factory components can often become obsolete, particularly when mounting optics on the slide, whether through direct milling or using a plate. Achieving the correct height for low co-witness iron sights depends on factors such as the firearm type, mounting plate, optic, and slide cut. For assistance in determining the appropriate iron sight height for your specific setup, please contact our Customer Service team through our dedicated
contact portal.

Bought this to mount a HE407K to a shield plus and I
couldn’t be happier with the results. I know some folks seem to have issues achieving a zero with their chosen optic but my experience was the exact opposite. Basically, I installed the optic with the plate, and it was good to go.
No adjustment in either direction was necessary, simple as that. Call BS if you want to but I know it is the truth.
C&H shipped the item quickly,
and they followed up with email offering help with the install if needed, and to remind me if I had any issues at all not to hesitate to get in touch.
These days I think reaching out at all is pretty dang good customer service.
But thankfully, there were no issues and it’s all good.
And to one of the previous reviewers, it is “not” just a flat plate. It is actually tapered end to end. According to my dial indicator, as best I could measure it, around .017,
Yeah, basically flat but not.
Alls I know is it works for me.
This is my second install using a plate from C&H. The first was gifted to me by my wife for use on a M&P compact with a 507k.
No issues with that install either.
So I do and I will highly recommend C&H products whenever I have an opportunity.

Perfect fit! Came with the correct screws too. Very satisfied. They sent follow up emails with installation instructions which shows they care.

My plate fit snugly and everything went smoothly on the installation. I’ve only got about 500 rounds through the gun since installing the optic, so it’s too soon to tell about its longevity, but so far so good. No play in the assembly, holds zero, and I can still cowitness my iron sights, if barely.

To echo a previous reviewer, the plate does not take up the entire cut-out of the S&W Shield Plus slide. I noticed right away that there was a small gap and that the plate didn’t fill the entire space, as it does on my S&W M&P 2.0. With the full sized 2.0, I saw more than one person have their screws shear off due to the poor fit of the plates that were included. To remedy this situation, they purchased the C&H plate and have had no issues. Following that advice, I opted for C&H plates for all of my optic ready pistols. This is the first that I have seen that doesn’t have a tight fit to prevent the shearing of the mounting screws. No issues so far, praying it remains that way!

Fit and finish are a 5 plus. Due to the design the optics are supported only by the screws. No lug contact. I thought while installing with a torque screwdriver I stripped threads in my slide. Uninstalled and the screw failed, the slide was ok. I contacted customer service. They did respond in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately this plate did not work for me. I had to go to another vendor and their plate worked perfectly.
