I thought this would be a tighter fit to the fn 5.7 lugs that go under this plate but there’s seems to be considerable wiggle

Much better than the OEM polymer plate. The gaps caused by the slides design is significantly less pronounced with the CHPWS plate VS the OEM plate. Almost non-existent. The fit is better, the lugs are re-assuring. I’ve ordered 3 plates recently from here for 3 different firearms and all have fit and finished very well. This is a must if you red dot your MRD 5.7
